Fall Practice and Coaching Staff

Dear Parents & Players:

I wanted to take a quick moment to introduce our fall coaching staff.
We are very fortunate to have the assistance of four highly talented
individuals to help polish our skills and understanding of game
concepts. While not every coach will be present every Saturday, it
looks like we will have at least three coaches at most practices
(except for this weekend and another later this fall). Aside from this
Saturday, I will not be present in a coaching capacity. While I may
come out and watch a few practices, the coaching responsibilities will
be split between these individuals:

Alex Kalvin – Shooting, Dodging and Faceoffs
Rob Smith – New Player Development
Noah Rosenblum – Goalies and Stick Skills
JP Foster – Defense & Conditioning

Each coach is copied to this email so you have their contact information.

Having three or four coaches allows us a unique opportunity to keep
practices high-level for our returning players while making sure that
newcomers  are given hands on, slower paced coaching to help prepare
them for season.

Practice begins promptly at 10am, which means players are dressed and
ready for stretching before that time. Practices end at 1215pm (except
for this Saturday we will end by 1130). Like the regular season, extra
conditioning will be given to players who are late for an unexcused
reason. Players should meet on the lacrosse practice field, which is
behind the baseball field.

All players should bring lots of water and FULL PADS. Players without
full pads will not be eligible to participate in some drills for
safety reasons.  Players who need to leave early or miss a practice
should let their fall captains know in advance. Captains this fall are
Alex Schlosser, Jack Martin, and Daniel Pile.

Finally, as a reminder, fall sport athletes are excused from all
practices until their seasons conclude; but, are more than welcome to
join for skills training. Should fall sport athletes attend they will
be exempt from any conditioning or contact drills.

Please feel free to email me if you have any questions. I look forward
to seeing everyone on Saturday.
